Android multitasking

Your Mac desktop beside your Android apps

Keep a Mac desktop open in Decky Display while you use an Android app beside it. Split the tablet screen, resize Decky in a window or fill the screen again. The desktop adapts to the space you give it.

Support: Use Decky in split-screen or a window

Two apps, one tablet

Put Decky Display beside your Android notes, browser or chat. Read a document on the Mac desktop while you write in an Android app, with both in view.

A window you can resize

Use split-screen or a resizable window on supported Android devices, including the tablet’s own Samsung DeX workspace. Move the divider, resize the window, rotate the tablet or maximize Decky as your work changes.

The desktop fits the space

In Extend and Alone, Decky adjusts the Mac desktop’s resolution to the available window area. Mirror and Room views fit the shared picture inside the window, keeping the source screen unchanged.

Keep your scaling choice

Decky retains your Native, HiDPI or supersampling preference as the window changes, using a supported size. Returning to fullscreen restores your saved fullscreen resolution.

Touch and pen stay aligned

Touch, pointer input and pen strokes follow the picture as it changes size. Resize the workspace and continue where you were, over Direct USB or Wi-Fi.

One pointer for both systems

Combine it with Android control from your Mac. Inside Decky’s desktop pane, the pointer operates macOS. Move into the Android app beside it to click, scroll or type there with the same mouse and keyboard.
