Your Mac as a tablet
Your tablet as the main screen. Your phone for typing.
Choose Alone to use your Android tablet as your main Mac screen. Natural touch lets you tap and scroll directly on the tablet, while a linked Android phone puts a familiar keyboard in your hands. Your Mac apps stay in view as you type. The same pairing also works in Extend and Mirror.

Connect both devices to the same Mac. Open a screen on one and choose Use as Controller on the other. On the Mac, choose Use with screen in the Controller’s device row and select the screen. Pairing trusts the devices; this choice links their jobs.
Type on your phone, see it on your tablet
Write a message or edit a document with the phone keyboard you already know. The tablet’s keyboard stays hidden, leaving the whole Mac app in view while you type.
Mac apps with a tablet feel
Tap what you want to use, scroll with one finger and drag with two. Natural touch keeps your hands on the content, so the tablet feels like a tablet while running your Mac apps. Pen input still works, and the phone’s touchpad is there when you want it.
Bring the keyboard back
Choose Use keyboard here in the screen’s Touch panel when you want to type there. If the phone disconnects or the link ends, the screen gets its keyboard back automatically, with its own Automatic or Manual preference preserved.
Just a touchpad beside the screen
Set the Controller’s keyboard to Never if you only want it for pointing and scrolling. The linked screen then keeps its own keyboard. Change the role of your phone without changing the display mode.
Two devices, one Mac
Connect both over Wi-Fi, or use Direct USB for one and Wi-Fi for the other. Each connects to the Mac. The link works with a private Android screen in Decky Display; it is separate from sharing a Room.
