Decky is peer to peer. Your screen goes from your Mac to your own devices over your own cable or your own network. It does not pass through FLOH Solutions, and there is no account to create.
What the apps collect
Nothing. Decky and Decky Display have no analytics, no telemetry and no crash reporting. They create no account, ask for no sign-in, and send your screen, your keystrokes and your files nowhere except to the devices you paired them with.
What buying leaves behind
Buying a licence stores three things at FLOH Solutions: the email address used, a reference for the purchase, and a one-way hash identifying each Mac the licence was activated on. That is the whole record. Payment is taken by a merchant of record, so card details never reach FLOH Solutions at all.
What the guest pass leaves behind
A guest pass records an email address and a one-way hash of the Mac it was issued to, so that one Mac gets one pass. Nothing else is kept.
After activation, Decky stops talking to anybody
Activating a licence contacts the licence service once, to register that Mac. After that it is verified offline against a key inside the app: no periodic check and no phone home, ever.
Key recovery
A request to resend a key is accepted, answered identically whether or not that address has a licence, and the key is mailed only if there is one. The identical answer is the point: it stops the form becoming a way to discover who is a customer.
This website
This site sets one cookie, to remember which language you chose. There is no advertising, no third-party tracking and no analytics on it.
The connection is not encrypted
Better said plainly than left to assumption. Traffic between your Mac and your devices runs over your own USB cable or your own local network and is not encrypted in transit. Anyone able to read that network could read it. Treat it the way you treat other devices on the same network.
Your rights
You can ask what FLOH Solutions holds about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted. Write to info@deckydisplay.com. Deleting a purchase record removes the ability to resend your key, but does not deactivate a licence already on your Mac: that licence keeps working offline, because it never needed a server.
Children
Decky is not directed at children and their data is not knowingly collected.
Changes
If this policy changes materially, the date at the top of this page changes with it.
