Use touch on Mac apps
Tap, drag, scroll and right-click from an Android display.
Step by step
- Connect a trusted Android display and open a Mac app on it. Tap to click; move one finger while touching to drag a window or object.
- Move two fingers to scroll. A quick two-finger tap or a stationary touch-and-hold opens a right-click menu.
- Use the device’s keyboard control when you need to enter text in a Mac app.
What to know
Touch controls the Mac app shown on the device. A Room guest needs approval to take control. Touch is available in the free version.
If it does not work
If the picture responds on the Mac but touch does nothing, check Accessibility permission and whether this device has control. Test a simple window drag before testing an app-specific gesture.
