What to know

The floating panel also holds display actions and a Touch tab for input preferences. A Controller has its own Mac Controls button and Settings panel.

The panel also holds display actions and a Touch tab. A Controller opens Controls from its top bar too.

Change touch, pen and keyboard settings

On a screen, open the Touch tab for Natural or Classic, Hold to drag, Scroll speed, Scroll inertia, Pen and Keyboard. On a Mac, the app row under Automatic pen behaviour lets you choose Draws or Scrolls. A linked Controller’s keyboard status and Use keyboard here appear below Keyboard.

Open controls from a Controller

Use the Mac Controls button in the Controller’s top bar for Mac actions. Its separate Settings button holds keyboard mode, pointer and scroll settings, Hold to drag and edge scrolling. Change Extend, Mirror or Alone on the screen device; a Controller has no picture to change.

If it does not work

If an action does nothing, check Decky’s Accessibility permission on the Mac and whether this device can control it. Test the same action on the Mac itself to see whether macOS or the active app is preventing it.

If an action does nothing, check that Windows is unlocked and that the app in front does not run as administrator.
