Arrange your screens

Put displays where they sit on your desk. On a Mac, save that layout and restore it later.

Connect the screens you want in this arrangement. Open Decky Settings → Screens and arrange the display tiles to match their physical positions.

Step by step

  1. Connect the screens you want in this arrangement. Open Decky Settings → Screens and arrange the display tiles to match their physical positions.
  2. Choose Save this arrangement for the current set of screens.
  3. Enable Restore arrangements automatically to restore it when that same combination returns. Restore now applies the saved layout immediately.
  1. Decky on Windows does not save arrangements. Each Decky display arrives beside the main display.
  2. Arrange it in Windows’ own display settings: Decky’s Settings → Screens → Arrange displays in Windows Settings.
  3. Your PC’s previous layout returns when the last Decky display stops. Each device’s resolution, refresh rate and rotation are still remembered in Settings → Devices.

What to know

An arrangement belongs to a combination of screens. A different desk can have a different saved layout. Resolution and scaling are separate choices from where a screen sits.

Saved arrangements need Decky on a Mac.

If it does not work

If restoration does not match, check that the same screens are connected and a layout is saved for this set. Adjust it and save again; Forget removes a saved arrangement.

If a Decky display is not where you expect it, move it in Windows’ display settings. Rotation is set while the device is connected.
