Hear it on the tablet, or send one app there
A screen you can hear is a screen you can watch on. Send everything the Mac is playing along with the picture, or give each screen its own output in macOS and send just the film, or just the call, to it.
The Mac's sound, on the tablet too
Everything the Mac is playing goes out with the picture and keeps playing on the Mac as well. That is what you want when the tablet is a speaker in the next room.

Install the audio driver and each connected screen appears in macOS as its own output, named after the screen. Choose it and that sound leaves the Mac's speakers entirely.
Two tablets, two outputs
Send the call to the tablet on the stand and leave the music on your desk speakers. They are separate devices to macOS, so anything that can route per app can route between them.
The routing survives unplugging
Send an app to the tablet once and it stays sent. That screen can go away, come back, be renamed or Decky can restart, and macOS still knows which output you meant.
Installed once, from inside the app
The driver installer is built into Decky, and it takes the driver back off the same way. No terminal, and nothing else to install.
Each device has its own volume
A tablet across the room and one on the desk do not want the same level, so the volume belongs to the device rather than to Decky. Set it beside that device, with a test tone playing, and hear the change while you make it.
