Native resolution
The panel you paid for, at the rate it runs
Run the tablet at its own resolution and its own refresh rate, up to 120 Hz, instead of a scaled-down approximation. On a 2960 × 1848 panel that is the difference between reading code and squinting at it.
Its real panel
Decky runs the tablet at the size and the refresh rate its own panel has, instead of a fixed shape chosen for it.
Up to 120 Hz
30, 60, 90 and 120 are all available where the panel supports them, and the choice is per device.
The tablet says what it is
Every device reports its own panel, and that size is always in the list for it, plugged in or not. Nothing is guessed from a model name.
Quality you can trade against bandwidth
Choose sharpness or smoothness yourself. On a busy network that is the choice that matters, and Decky does not quietly make it for you.
Rotate it, including while it is running
Portrait for a document, landscape for a timeline. Change it while the tablet is in use and it changes there and then.
Text you can actually work in
At the panel's own resolution a document or a terminal stays sharp enough to read for hours. That is the difference between a second screen you glance at and one you work on.
