Licences, free use & recovery

Activate a key, understand the free version, or recover a lost licence.

Step by step

  1. Open Decky Settings → Licence on the Mac and enter your key. The first activation needs an internet connection to register that Mac.
  2. Use the key on up to two Macs. Once activated, that Mac can keep using the licence offline. If a third Mac is refused, email support to free a slot.
  3. If the key is missing, use Recover my key with the purchase email address. Check that inbox and its spam folder.

What to know

Decky Display stays free. The free Mac version provides a network display up to 1920 × 1080 at 30 Hz. Paid features include direct USB and higher display limits. A guest pass lasts fourteen days, one per Mac; expiry returns Decky to free use.

If it does not work

For activation errors, check the internet connection and copy the whole key without extra spaces. Send support the error and purchase email, rather than posting your key publicly.
