Decky Link

Two computers, one keyboard and pointer

Link two computers that run Decky, a Mac or a PC, once, and they remember each other. Then your keyboard and pointer move between them: choose Control, or push the pointer past the edge between their screens.

Support: Link two computers with Decky Link

Link once, then it is remembered

Choose Link with another Decky, pick the computer nearby or enter its address, then approve on the other computer and type the code it shows. Each keeps a card for the other, Connected or Not connected, and they reconnect by themselves.

Cross the edge between screens

Turn on Switch at screen edges and choose the Side where the other computer sits. Push the pointer past that edge and your keyboard and pointer move across; push back to return. Or choose Control on its card, and the shortcut brings you back.

Its screen too, with Decky Display

Decky Display runs on a Mac and on a PC as well. Open it on one computer and it can show the other’s screen, in Extend or Mirror, like any other device.

The person at the computer wins

If somebody uses the other computer’s own keyboard or mouse, it is theirs again at once, and your keyboard and pointer come back to you. When Windows asks for a password or permission on a PC, control comes back too.

Mac and PC, in any pair

Mac with PC, PC with PC, Mac with Mac. Whichever pair it is, each computer says plainly when the other one is controlling it.

Linked on purpose, and easy to undo

A link starts with a code and an approval, so a computer on your network cannot join by finding yours. Disconnect keeps the card for later; Forget removes the link on both computers, and linking again needs a new code.
